How can I join the UTM Archery Club?
Membership for the UTM Archery Club is sold during UTM Archery practices, just come by to gym c in the RAWC during our hours to join the club.
Is there a membership fee?
Yes, membership fees may vary each year and are sold either for one entire year or for one semester (either Fall or Winter).
I am not a student at UTM, can I still join?
Unfortunately, Non-University of Toronto students cannot join the club unless they have a gym membership with The Department of Physical Education, Athletics, and Recreation.
I have never tried archery before, can I still join?
Yes! Regardless of your experience in archery, you can still join. We have amazing coaches who will be there every practice to guide members on the proper shooting techniques.
Can I bring my own equipment to practices?
Yes, you can bring your own equipment to practices. However, it must first be approved by one of our coaches. They will check if your equipment is appropriate for indoor recreational archery.
When are practices?
For the 2018-2019 school year, we have 3 practices: Monday 7pm to 9pm, Wednesday 8am to 10am, Thursday 8am to 10am.
Do you host tournaments and competitions?
Yes, we host our annual Clubs Competition in March. We also send our archery team to represent UTM and compete at archery competitions such as the Inter-University Archery Tournament. This team is decided based on dedication, skill and score in the beginning of the winter semester.
What other events do you host?
We host a variety of social events throughout the year which can be found on our Events page above. We also collaborate with other UTM clubs and organizations to host archery events together such as Women's only Shoot, Charity Shoot, Food Bank Shoot, etc.
